VidGrabo (vidgrabo.com) lets you save videos from public pages on other platforms. This page explains what data we handle when you use it, why, and for how long.

What we collect

  • The links you paste, so we can read the video and prepare the file. Links are held in memory for up to 15 minutes and are not saved to our database.
  • Usage statistics: the platform (for example TikTok), whether the download worked, the chosen format and file size, your approximate country, language and device type (mobile or desktop). These statistics do not include the links or video titles.
  • Your IP address, to apply fair-use limits and protect the service from abuse. It is kept with the statistics for up to 12 months.
  • Messages you send through the contact page: your name, email and message.

Downloaded files

  • Files are prepared on our servers only so you can save them, and are deleted automatically after a short time (about one hour).
  • We do not keep a library of videos and we do not share the files you download with anyone.

Cookies and on-device storage

  • VidGrabo does not require an account and does not set tracking cookies of its own.
  • Your language and light/dark preference are stored in your browser only.
  • Advertising partners may set cookies to show ads (see below).

Third parties

  • Cloudflare: protects the site and delivers it quickly; it handles the requests that reach the site.
  • Google Fonts: used to load fonts.
  • The platforms you download from (TikTok, Instagram and others): our servers contact them to read the public video you asked for. Your IP address is not sent to them.
  • IP location database (DB-IP): stored on our servers; your address is not sent to anyone to estimate your country.
  • Advertising partners, including Google: may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or at aboutads.info for other ad vendors.

We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any data linked to you, such as a message you sent, through the contact page.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
